August 29, 2018, Thurston Thrives hosted a Regional Housing Summit II, with all municipalities to discuss the shortage of housing in Thurston County, homelessness, incentivized building with private developers and other possible solutions to this complex problem.
The purpose of this summit was to engage our local elected officials in a regional conversation on ways to strengthen government and private sector partnerships to increase housing supply.
Both Tedd Kelleher from the Department of Commerce, and Zach Kosturos, President of Prime Locations, gave strategic presentations on the problem, and possible solutions.
