Do you want to support your favorite restaurant AND help those in need? Here’s an idea:
Buy a gift card from your favorite restaurant and donate it to your favorite non-profit, church, school or someone who needs a good meal (health care workers!). This is a win-win.
A few local resources who could use some gift cards include:
Community Youth Services: Community Youth Services has 2 youth shelters (Rosie’s Place and Haven House) in Thurston, of which have stayed open to house those young people that need it most! The staff has been working round the clock to keep them open and we’d love to help them all out!
North Thurston Education Foundation (who will get them to homeless students in North Thurston Public Schools)
